Goal Setting in Medical School
Story Time
I was a very bright Student during my High School I was topper in my class and in our High school also but when i enter First year due to Few Factors My condition became worse day by day
I was getting low results in almost every test taken by our institute and i was almost at the verge of Failing
I didn't Fail Hopefully but only got around 55% in our Final Examination;
From 95% Marks in High School to 55% in Our Medical school was a pretty big Downfall; I was absolutely thrashed by my result but i stood strong and evaluate myself and thought what i am lacking;
After studying Few factors and Applying all those factors as Trial And Error Run in my second year I came to a Final Factor Which was : INEFFICIENT and INCOMPLETE GOAL SETTING
Then i researched about so many articles and watched almost dozen of you tube videos and thought about goal setting methods;
and at the end i got a Perfect Method Which suits in almost every scenario in life so i choose that and apply it to my education and i Jumped from 55% to 70% and With distinction in Microbiology subject
I will share you the Method of GOAL SETTING in this blog Hope you like it

INTRODUCTION
There are many goal setting strategy you will find online but the one that worked for me in absolutely all areas of life is SMART Strategy,
I have already Used this strategy in Health and Study and it did a great job for me so i am explaining in great length now
SMART STRATEGY
Some time people Don't know what should their goal look like so they keep doing hard work but can't get ahead in studies,
in this strategy there are 5 Subcategories if you use those 5 categories while planning your Goals you will Pass every exam with Flying Colors
S - Specific
Goal Should be Specific always
For Example:
If you have decided to complete Cardio Vascular System Today You will have to be Sure in following Questions;
What Will i Read in One month/week/day?
Which Material I would Use?
How much Time it would take?
M - Measurable
Goal should be measurable always so that you can measure how much work is done and how much is left and you can manage your time according to that
For Example;
You want to complete CVS so you should set goals in terms of Page like today i will read 10 Pages not in terms of Topics because you can't measure topics
A - Achievable
Goal Should be always achievable not like a daydream or a fake bizarre goal
For Example;
I Will Read CVS in one Day, I will complete Harrison's Whole Textbook In one Month Etc.
R - Relevant
Goal should be relevant to your final Destination or where you want to reach
For Example;
If you want to clear NEET PG your goal should be to read coaching notes and practicing mcqs
it shouldn't be like practicing music or practicing cricket and Read Harrison/Davidson etc
T - Time Bound
Goal should be always Time Bound Meaning there must be A deadline where the Goal must be completed
For Example;
I want to Read CVS - This kind of goal isn't time-bound
I want to Read CVS in 10 Days - This is a Time Bound Goal
CONCLUSION
I have shared my method with you now its Upon you to follow this method or try wasting time to find better solution; i am absolutely sure that this will be the best strategy to set goals
but Opinion Differs from Person to Person and i Try to show you my perspective you can use this method with few adjustments wherever you like
