I have cleared my Plab Part - 1 Exam with a great score of 79% ~ 142/180 Everyone were congratulating me But i was A bit Anxious

Because I was in dilemma of PASS/FAIL of PLAB Part 1 but I dint think about Plab 2 IN this time of 1 Month(Yes; You will get your PLAB -1 Result in 1 month; So be ready for PLAB 2)

That cost me a lot Because As you read this Blog you will come to know that you need to do so many Preparation Before Plab Part 2

So if i would have done This Preparation in 1 Months that 1 month would be Saved;

Choose Date for Exam

Ideally Speaking choose Plab - 2 date should be chosen in April of Next year when you got your results

you can choose any date from April month according to availability and expenses

 

Decide The Source/Course

There are many courses available which Prepares you for OSCE

What i would suggest is that you should consider coaching in  UK where you have selected your venue for Exam and Go there one month before to start Preparing Because they can guide you as similar as the exam situations and you will be familiarize with the UK Hospitals also

 

Booking the Exam

As soon as you decide the date and coaching the first thing you have to do is book plab 1 Exam through the GMC online account portal and Book PLAB 2 exam there and get the booking confirmation with you

Prepare for UK Visit visa

At the end of current year when you got your results i.e December you must prepare for VISA;

Normally it takes 15 days for getting the visa and it may take minimum 10 days to maximum 30 days for visa to be processed so think about that and prepare for Visa right away

November - You have given Plab 1

December -  you got your result of plab - 1

December - Apply for Plab - 2 Test and Coaching

January - Apply for a Standard Business Visitor Visa

February - Shopping and Financial Preparations; Go to UK

March - Coaching Preparation

April - Sit for PLAB - 2

Is it very tough Exam?

um mm, I would say that its tougher than part - 1 but not tougher than its usmle counter part usmle step - 2

actually its like your MBBS university exam VIVA exams so don't worry

What if i Fail?

Don't worry it can happen sometime; you can always book another exam instantly depending on availability but i would suggest you should wait for one month and in that one month Prepare again  and give exam

Can i Apply visitor visa without booking confirmation of Plab?

Yes; But you won't be able to get visa in most cases
